New England Patriots: A Sure Bet

Chalk has caught up to the New England Patriots. They’re 2-4 against the spread in their last six games. But you can still make the closest thing to a sure NFL bet you’ll ever make when the Pats entertain the Miami Dolphins this Sunday – provided you have exceptionally deep pockets.
Yup, we’re talking about the moneyline, assuming one gets posted. It’s almost inconceivable that New England would lose to Miami the way the Ravens did last week. The Pats are easily the best team in the league and a strong candidate for the best ever. The Dolphins may be better than their 1-13 record indicates, but not much: 3.4 Estimated Wins, according to Football Outsiders.
So how deep are your pockets? Are you willing to take the chance that, say, all the Patriots contract hantavirus? Or the Dolphins discover the same formula that made Kurt Russell the Strongest Man in the World? Wait – maybe it was dianabol.
