Doing the Right Thing
By Igor Ivanov | February 28, 2008

No matter how much it may seem to be so, not everyone in Vegas has their hand in your pocket. Any city that attracts this much money has to have some philanthropists looking to improve the lives of the less fortunate.
Heather duBoef has organized a new women’s group who have taken a direct approach to their philanthropy. Instead of blind donations given at galas, the group of women research and decide on whom they feel they can best help. Each woman in the group donates the same amount and holds the same amount of power within the organization.
